It’s more of a between color of black, and chrome if you’re looking for that as a match, end of the day not for me, and shipping takes awhile on these sample sizes.A customer requested this film and it was the first time I herd an Avery wrap film. It cut and transfer paper stuck just like the 3M 1080 I usually use. It has a nice reflection with it and was not scratched up. The pinch rollers on my vinyl cutter did leave deeper “tracks” in it than the 1080. It is definitely more of a dark gray than a black.I'm not sure if this film was supposed to have a protective cap over the chrome that was supposed to be removed before installation but mine did not have it. The surface finish did however have a lot of adhesive residue on the surface that I had to remove.Very disappointed. This is more like a high gloss cool-grey. Does not have any of the qualities associated with "chrome"In shadows or at night, the vinyl doesn't turn complete black... But stays very true to its original color. In the sun or when illuminated, this vinyl can be as shiny as regular chrome.It seems to stretch more than the usual chrome vinyl... Which is a plus... But Avery's supreme line conforms more than the "conformable chrome line"If your looking for a super high gloss cool-grey ... This is your vinyl!
